Philodendron is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. Philodendron care is easy, even inexperienced houseplant owners will have no trouble growing philodendron plants because the plants adapt readily to conditions inside the home.
Set the plant in a location with bright, indirect sunlight. It’s normal for older leaves to yellow, if this happens to several leaves at the same time, the plant may be getting too much light.
Water when the soil is dry. Yellow leaves indicate over-watering and brown leaves indicate under-watering.
They grow to a height of approximately three feet, but its width can be nearly twice its height.
