The Rhapidophora emanates the beauty of a miniature Monstera, it is important to note, however, that this plant isn't part of the same genus. They aren't Philodendrons either but they do belong to the Araceae family. They are often found in the Southern part of Thailand and Malaysia.
Light – Bright, filtered light is the best way to go with this plant. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves so change their position once you see that their leaves are starting to brown.
Water – They prefer to be kept consistently moist. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot, always check the soil and water only when 1-2 inches of the soil is feeling slightly damp.
They can go by with normal room humidity, but they thrive better in humid conditions. To provide them with this, you can mist them every now and then during the mornings or place their pot on top of a pebble tray with little water.
Growth – Given proper care and all the right conditions, these plants can grow up to 12 inches tall indoors. They are best paired with a simple, white ceramic planter.
WARNING – These plants can be toxic to small animals, keep them away from pets.
