Scientific Name: Echeveria runyonii
Family: Crassulaceae
Silver Rose has a lovely pale silvery rosette form, with loose arrow shaped foliage. It's been used to make some very pretty hybrids.
From greenish to purplish white, the color of the rosette varies on the sunlight exposure.
Light: Preferably strong and bright indirect sunlight. Cannot tolerate low light - the rosette will open and elongate.
Water: Only when the soil is dry.
Like other Echeveria species, Silver Rose is not hard to grown provided that you follow one simple rule: NEVER OVER WATER, NEVER LET THE LEAVES STAY IN POOL OF WATER.
Pot: Echeveria species has really shallow roots that require shallow pots. We prefer Echeveria species be in a square pot to compliment the round shape of the plant.
