Sunshine in a pot! The Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime' or Philodendron Neon is very aptly named with those glorious heart-shaped leaves in shades from golden lime to emerald green.
CARE GUIDE
LIGHT:
Philodendron Neon will tolerate lower light than others in her family, but give her brighter light and she'll reward you with more of those gorgeous blush-gold baby leaves during growing season. No direct sunlight though or she'll burn.
WATER:
Give the Philodendron Lemon Lime a good drench when you water, then let her dry out in-between. In summer wait to water again when the top half is semi-dry, and in winter let the top half get completely dry. If you're unsure, wait a bit longer, as being too dry rather than too wet is a safer bet. Those big heart-shaped leaves benefit from a mist often in summer, less often in rainy season.
POTTING:
Philodendron Neon Heart Leaf is a venial plant that grows faster than my hair. Lol. So better pot it in a tall planter, better if a hanging pot so the leaves will spill freely. Philodendron Heart Leaf makes shelves more beautiful.
