Also known as 'The Paddle Plant,' the Variegated Flap Jack Succulent got its namesake due to its unique and special features. They're most known for the clam-like shape of their leaves, forming in rosette clusters. Variegated varieties of these plants come in shades of green, violet, and pink.
Light – Being a succulent that's native to South Africa, they do best under direct sunlight or partial shade. During the hottest days of the year, you may need to protect your plant from intense highlight as it could potentially damage its leaves.
Water – As this is a drought-resistant plant, you may need to hold back on the watering. Since they store water in their leaves, you just need to give them a drink when the soil feels completely dry.
Growth – Given proper care and all the right conditions, these plants can grow up to 2ft indoors. They are best paired with a simple, white ceramic planter.
