Also know as the Maidenhair fern, the Venus fern is a lovely one. As the name would suggest, this pant is a delicate one. They're hard to take care of but once you do, they are a wonderful addition to your home.
This plant features bright green leaves that can soften any corner of the room. Leaves their leaves untouched for most time as it may cause them to brown.
Light – This plant does best under moderate, indirect light. No matter what, avoid direct sunlight and keep these plants in deep shade.
Water – Water this plant thoroughly and keep it consistently moist. As much as possible, don't leave the soil to dry completely. Never let it stand in water as they can still get root rot. Water directly to the soil and avoid letting it touch the center of the plant. Doing so may cause it to rot.
These plants are not a fan of hot and dry conditions. higher levels of humidity do well for this plant. Keep them in humid places like the bathroom or kitchen. You can also increase their humidity by misting regularly or by placing the pot on top of a pebbly tray will with little water.
Growth – Given proper care and all the right conditions, these plants can grow up to 3 ft indoors. They are best paired with a simple, white ceramic planter.
