The Monstera deliciosa is one of the trendiest plants of the century. It’s not hard to see why, they’re easy to care for and they give the highest payoff due to their beautiful, luscious leaves that splits when maturing. They’re a beautiful statement plant that people just can’t get enough of!
Light – Never put this plant under direct sunlight as it will burn their leaves. If you want to place it near a window, use a sheer curtain to protect it from the harmful rays of the sun. They can tolerate lower levels of light but growth may slow down.
Water – Water these plants deeply every 1 to 2 weeks. Allow their soil to dry out between sessions. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
They can go by with normal room humidity, but they thrive better in humid conditions. To provide them with this, you can mist them ever now and then during the mornings or place their pot on top of a pebble tray with little water.
Growth – Given proper care and all the right conditions, these plants can grow up to 15 feet tall indoors. They are best paired with a simple, white ceramic planter.
