Since 2017, from the first pot on a windowsill to the planters around a resort pool.

Kit Laserna launched Pots for Plants in April 2017, inspired by a simple idea: bring nature inside the home. At the time, plant shops were everywhere and well-made planters were not. Ours was one of the first online plant shops in the country to deliver higher-grade pots and planters to the door.

What began as a passion project landed in the middle of a wave. Home gardens went up on balconies and in condo corners, collectors started adopting plants of every shape and size, and going green stopped being a niche. We grew with it.

The orders got bigger. A condo developer needed matching planters for a podium garden. A hotel needed pieces that could sit beside a pool and survive chlorine, salt-splash, and daily housekeeping. A mall needed fifty of one thing, identical, by a fixed opening date.

Those briefs are not a catalog problem. They are a manufacturing problem, and fiberglass is the honest answer to most of them: light enough for rooftop and amenity-deck weight limits, chemically inert to pool chemistry, UV-stable under tropical sun, and repeatable across a full production run.

So we built the workshop out. Retail taught us finish, proportion, and what a pot looks like in a real room. Commercial taught us tolerance, load, lead time, and what it costs to be late. The two lanes still feed each other.
